Aussie Ark offers “Devils in the Wild” tours, providing close encounters with Tasmanian devils. These 2.5-hour tours, held four times a month, begin with an introduction and morning tea at the Interpretation Centre. Participants then observe devils in free-range enclosures, including entering a large enclosure for a communal feeding session designed to encourage natural behaviour. Depending on the season, visitors may interact with devil joeys. The tour also includes visits to Eastern Quoll, Brush-tailed Rock Wallaby, and small macropod enclosures.

Accommodation

Aussie Ark also offers accommodation at Quoll’s Cottage (sleeps 8) and Devils Retreat (sleeps 10), located 11km from the Ark. These properties offer two-night stays including a “Devils in the Wild” tour. Both feature self-contained kitchens, fireplaces, and BBQ facilities. Rates vary based on occupancy, with extra nights available. The properties are a 2-hour drive from Scone, 4 hours from Newcastle, and 6 hours from Sydney, with unsealed roads for the final section of the journey.
